The restaurant's atmosphere and staff make the Road Hog Saloon different from
other places around Grand Lake; this is a come in, feel like you are welcome place
Enjoy choosing from a full menu including BBQ, Burgers, Sliders, Rubens and more,
lunch and dinner 7 days 11:30am - 8pm. The smoked prime rib is a Friday night
special from 6-9pm and breakfast is served Saturday and Sunday 8am - 11:30pm.
There is a full bar and never a cover charge for the live bands
Shangri-La Resort is the ultimate escape destination. Strategically located at the tip of Monkey Island on northeastern Oklahoma's beautiful Grand Lake O' The Cherokees, Shangri-La offers championship golf, boat and personal watercraft rentals, yacht charters, and parasailing. Grand Lake is a popular boating destination with 46,000 surface acres of water and more than 1,300 miles of shoreline, located just off Interstate 44 midway between Tulsa, Oklahoma and Joplin, Missouri. A private airport with a 3,925 foot concrete runway is adjacent to the Shangri-La property. Two other airports with runways in excess of 5,000 feet are nearby.

Monkey Island Winery was first opened at Royal Horse Ranch in 2010 and re-opened in 2017. There will not be any wine available for sale until October, 2017. We are fermenting and bottling wine made from purchased juice and fruit, along with Cynthiana/Norton grapes from our home vineyards harvested in 2016 and 2017.
Established in 2017, Monkey Island Cottages is the newest/neatest place to stay for an overnight

Trails wind through more than 150 acres of sunny pastures, shady woods and along beautiful Grand Lake and make the perfect setting for a leisurely ride.
Forty-five minute hay rides are also offered at Monkey Island Trail Rides at Royal Horse Ranch. A hay ride is a great way to bring family, friends or associates together for a memorable outdoor experience.
